The Chrysler LeBaron amphibious conversion was a homemade amphibian based on a 1992 Chrysler LeBaron V6 convertible. Its builder offered it on eBay in March 2003 from Lake Orion, Michigan.

The builder had installed a Yamaha 650 jet-ski propulsion unit in the boot. He said the car both drove and swam well, and that the conversion had not changed its road handling; the only thing lost was the air conditioning. Afloat it sat level in still water, low enough that the doors could be opened, though he advised against it. He admitted two problems still to be solved: the starter needed redesigning, and the drive belt wore out a toothed belt after about an hour of swimming. The car had covered about 80,000 miles.
