The Chrysler XM410 was an amphibious eight-wheel-drive prototype truck. The archive's information comes from a collector who had tracked down several surviving examples.

XM410

Chrysler built six XM410 prototypes around 1958-1959. They had aluminium bodies and fully independent suspension, with the front four wheels steering and disc brakes at all four corners. Power came from a 361 cu in industrial engine with a push-button automatic transmission. The collector had located four of the six.

XM410E1

Around 1965 Chrysler built about 25 XM410E1 prototypes, an upgraded version with many differences from the original. These used a Continental multifuel engine, much like that of the M35-series trucks. The collector had found three of them.

Photographs in the archive include an XM410 converted into a camper.
