The Dutton Mariner is a compact amphibious convertible from Tim Dutton, the British kit-car builder who also made the Dutton Commander. A 1999 German newspaper article in the archive says the Mariner had been built at Littlehampton in Great Britain since 1993. The photographs show a privately owned white Mariner with a black soft top and 'Dutton Mariner' lettering on its sides, towed behind a Mercedes M-Class. They also show its right-hand-drive dashboard and the UA jet unit (UA Engineering, Sheffield) that drives it in the water.
