The PKP is a boat-shaped, two-wheeled amphibious trailer that works with the Soviet PTS-M tracked amphibious transporter. Fold-out sponsons keep it stable in the water. With the PKP in tow, a PTS-M can carry an artillery tractor, a field gun of up to medium calibre, its crew and a supply of ammunition in a single crossing.
