The Seawolf 150 was an amphibious pickup truck based on the Ford F-150. Its makers called it "the world's first and only amphibious multi-use truck". They presented it as a leisure watercraft that was also comfortable to drive on the road.
Design
The conversion was offered on F-150s with two- or four-wheel drive and with SuperCab, extended-cab or crew-cab bodies. US Coast Guard safety equipment was standard, and the makers promised a long list of options. A matching amphibious trailer was offered for extra load space. West Coast sales and service were handled by Scorpion International, LLC.
The archive's material gives no details of the hull, water propulsion or performance. A series of photographs shows the truck in the water during test runs.
