The Vickers L1E3 was an amphibious light tank designed and built by Vickers and submitted for trials in June 1939. An unusual feature was its hollow, airtight road wheels, which added buoyancy. It was never put into series production.

The two-man tank weighed 4.4 tons. It was about 4.6 m long, 2.34 m wide and 2.31 m high, and was powered by an 88 hp Meadows ESTB six-cylinder engine. Armament was a single Vickers .303 in machine gun. Its water speed was given as 4 mph (about 6.4 km/h).
