The Crococart was a single-seat electric amphibious vehicle for children, offered around 2002 by Electric Fun Company Ltd, a firm making electrically driven vehicles for amusement parks and similar attractions. It is steered with two joysticks controlling the left- and right-hand drives, and has two propellers that start turning automatically when the vehicle enters the water.
In a November 2002 email to the archive owner, the company's co-owner also described a second amphibious product, the Amphibug: a bought-in empty body fitted with twin electric drive motors and controllers, steered by joystick, with a remote control allowing operators to intervene. It had just been launched at a trade fair in Orlando and attracted interest particularly from zoos, which wanted to use it to show visitors animals such as crocodiles and hippos from a new angle.
