The Ettex is a six-wheeled amphibious all-terrain vehicle of the type popular in North America in the 1970s. The only information in the archive comes from an eBay listing of September 2004, in which a snowmobile collector in Pennsylvania offered an example he had acquired because these machines used snowmobile engines.

The seller believed it dated from the mid-1970s or early 1980s but knew little else about it. The vehicle was in poor condition, with a cracked tub, some tyres losing air and the plywood and foam gone from the seats. It was sold without an engine.
