The Folio HU 010.01 is a heavy amphibious work vehicle built in 1991/1992, known in the archive from a Dutch sales listing.
Design
The machine measures about 10.5 m long and 3.5 m wide, with a height of 1.50-1.75 m, a 5.70 m wheelbase and a 3.00 m track. It weighs around 19 tonnes and can carry 8,000 kg spread over two hydraulically operated dump/loading bins. Steering is by articulation, with an outside turning circle of 18 m.
A six-cylinder Volvo Penta diesel of 150 kW drives all four wheels hydraulically, giving a road speed of about 30 km/h and a drawbar pull of 20 tonnes. Afloat, it is pushed by two steerable rudder propellers of 50 kW each. Its wheels can be raised and retracted, and the machine is run from a central open, self-draining cockpit.
