The Gibbs Humdinga II is a development of the original Humdinga concept, built on Gibbs' High Speed Amphibian (HSA) technology. Like the other HSA vehicles it reaches highway speeds on land and more than 48 km/h (30 mph) on water, switching between the two in seconds.
It carries five to seven people or the equivalent in cargo (payload 750 kg), and Gibbs pitched it at first responders, where time saved can save lives, as well as for rescue and supply missions needing off-road ability. Power comes from a 350 hp supercharged V8 with permanent four-wheel drive and disc brakes. The vehicle is about 6.55 m long, 2.02 m wide and 2.44 m high and has a kerb weight of 2,750 kg.
