The Myark folding trailer barge was a combined road trailer and barge offered by the firm Myark. In December 1999 Stephen Snedden of Myark wrote to the archive owner asking him to show pictures of the company's barges; the archive holds images including one of a barge being towed on the water and one carrying a Jayco (caravan) on a 7.2 m unit.
In the same email Snedden mentioned a local amphibian built by Terry Roycroft, who held patents on a fold-up wheel system and was then in the United States developing his latest model; Snedden described it as planing well on the water.
