The NAMI-032 was a series of small amphibious vehicles that appeared from 1956. Most of them never progressed beyond the prototype stage, but the series formed the basis of the later LuAZ-967.

Design and role

The vehicles were designed for several military tasks, chiefly carrying wounded soldiers. Some were built extremely light, using glass fibre, so that they could be dropped from aircraft by parachute. The engine, a 0.5-litre unit of 22 hp, is described as rather underpowered.

The folder also contains photographs of the related NAMI-0106 tracked vehicle, which has its own record, and a small picture labelled NAMI-053.
