The Schneider-Laurent amphibious tank was a French design of the mid-1930s. A correspondent described it to the archive as more interesting than it first looks, because it could move in three ways. It ran on tracks or on wheels, and two propellers drove it in the water.
The crew could change from tracks to wheels in about three minutes, but only by getting out of the vehicle, which was a risk under fire. Power came from a V8 petrol engine of about 100 hp.
The archive has only this short description and one small photograph.
