The Lannmarker forest fire-fighting vehicle is a tracked amphibious machine offered by a Shanghai company for fighting forest fires. It carries a crew of two and eight passengers.

Design

The vehicle is powered by a 12-litre air-cooled Deutz F8L413 diesel rated at 175 kW, with a five-speed transmission. It reaches 55 km/h on land and moves at about 4 km/h in still water. It is 5.5 m long, 2.85 m wide and 1.95 m high, with 450 mm ground clearance, on tracks 390 mm wide. It weighs 7,900 kg net and can carry 4,000 kg. It climbs gradients of 32 degrees, crosses 1.6 m ditches and 0.65 m walls, and has a range of 400 km.

For fire fighting it has a 3.1 cubic-metre water tank, which fills in four minutes, and a separate petrol-engined pump delivering 2 to 12 litres per second at a lift of 50 to 72 m. The jet reaches more than 40 m.
