The Trippel SG 7 was a 1943 design by Hans Trippel for an amphibious staff car for German army officers. It was assembled from various Tatra 87 components, including that car's rear-mounted V8 engine, and had four-wheel drive. The vehicle performed well, but the course of the war prevented series production. Like Trippel's later Amphicar, it had its engine at the rear.
