The Kingpower Amphibious 8x8 ATV is an eight-wheel-drive amphibious all-terrain vehicle made by Zhejiang Kingpower Vehicle Manufacture Ltd and sold for export.
Design
It has a water-cooled 796 cc three-cylinder, four-stroke engine with fuel injection and electric start, giving 36 hp. Drive goes through a belt-driven CVT with high and low ranges and reverse, then roller chains to the wheels. In the water a shaft-driven 165 mm jet pump propels it. The welded steel channel frame is powder-coated, and the body is made of a tough composite. It is steered with handlebars and has hydraulic brakes.
The maker quotes 60 km/h on land and 25 km/h in water, seating for six, and a load of 750 kg on land or 650 kg afloat. It can tow 1,200 kg, carries 40 litres of fuel and runs on AT25x12-9 tyres. Shipping weight is 690 kg, and five fit in a 20-foot container.
